Visy Cares Community Centre, Shepparton

Over the years there has been considerable philanthropic support from The Pratt Foundation for various projects in the general Shepparton area.  The  Visy Board Manager for the Shepparton area was very keen to find a suitable project in his community which could be funded by Visy Cares.

After assessing a range of options it was decided to support the development of a new facility at the Wanganui Park Secondary College.  This building incorporates two indoor basketball courts, a dance studio, a small area for the performing arts and medical consulting rooms.

This is a multi-million dollar complex funded by the Victorian Government and the college community with support from Visy Cares.

The Visy Cares Community Centre is now a significant community facility in Shepparton and the college is keen to continue to encourage high utilization of the facilities by the community .
